Going to London!

Next semester I'm going to visit London with my brother. We will go on september so we can enjoy the autumn. In other trips, we accumulated LAN points, so now we paid cheap tickets to London. I hope it's a wonderful trip! We are now planning all the activities we're going to do in just seven days, specially looking the weather (I hope it doesn't rain!!).

We'll arrive on saturday morning, so impatiently we will run to Westminster district to see the parliament and Big Ben! I think it's London's icon, and it's necessary to see it! Then we'll walk beside the river and have lunch somewhere. In the afternoon, we will visit Westminster cathedral in Victoria underground, all in zone 1.

In day two, we will visit Kensington Gardens, because weather is going to be great that day, so we'll spend all day in there and have a picnic. We'll use the underground and go to High Street Kensington, also in zone 1.

We'll visit London Eye on monday's morning (so exciting!). The entrance costs £19,20 it's located close to Waterloo underground, zone 1. At the afternoon, we're going to go to Madame Tussauds museum in Baker Street underground, zone 1 too (hope it's as awesome as all the people says!).

On tuesday, we'll spend an "history" day and go to British Museum in the morning. It's an advantage that most museums of London are free, like this. It's located in Holborn underground, zone 1. Then, we'll visit the Tower of London at 3 pm (close at 5:30 pm!!), and we have to pay £21,45 to enter the tower (I think it's madness!!). It's located in Tower Hill underground, zone 1.

Day 5! We're going to spend aaaaaaall day in Camden Market! I heard it's an awesome place! You can buy a lot of things, clothes, souvenirs and eat a lot of types of nice food! (hope my savings are enough). It's located in Camden town underground, zone 2.

On thursday, we're going ti visit Natural History Museum in the morning and Tate Modern Art Gallery in the afternoon, both free. First one is located in South Kensington underground and the other one in Southwark underground, both in zone 1.

The last day, we'll spend our friday in Notting hill neighborhood and Portobello road market. My brother told me that I can't visit London without going there, because it's an awesome place to know. It's located in Notting Hill gate underground, on the boundary of Travelcard zone 1 and zone 2.

I think one week is a short time to visit this wonderful city, but I just have to think that it's not the last time I will. I hope I can spend a great time with my brother and fall in love with this beautiful city! Give me luck! bye!

My favourite piece of technology

Definitely, my radio is my favourite. I got it two years ago because mine was old (my brother gave me that radio that he bought years ago), so I was so happy to finally have my own good and new radio. Also, is red, my favourite colour, so it's more special to me!

It's cool because I can connect my phone, CD's, pendrives and also use FM Radio whenever I want. It's easy to use and fast, so I can listen to music all day in my room.

I love listening to music, not just because I'm studying music theory, but because music is great company and I need it everyday. I use it always, when I'm reading, studying, resting and all the times I can. I love listening to new music, exploring all the types that I don't know, so my radio helps me a lot. Is a good tool for my career, and also for my life.

I think if radios didn't exist, it would be more difficult to spread music, and more personal too. Music is something you should share and enjoy with your friends and family, and is cool listening to music with them, feeling the music in the air, not just in your ears. Everyone should have the possibility to listen to music, and the radio is a good way to do it!

Expectations for a new semester, part two

I have a lot of subjects I always wanted to learn, so I think this term is going to be good. Guitar I, for example, because I have been playing piano for eight years, so learning a new instrument is good for my career.

I decided not to do extracurricular activities, because it's my first semester, so I want to be more comfortable at university and have more time to study. Maybe, I will next semester.

I have met a lot of people this month, and we went to other university activities on march, like parties and welcomes. Is cool meeting new people of other careers, not just music, like mine.

Now, I just want to fall in love with my career and my university, because deciding to study music was difficult, so I hope I can stay here all the career and finally do what I love: making music.
